A powerful algae-cleaning addition to any reef aquarium, the Turbo Snail grows to around golf-ball size and is highly effective at controlling hair algae, film algae and diatoms. It will also graze on certain turf algae and unwanted macroalgae, helping keep your rockwork clean and your reef looking its best.
This hardy species is easy to care for in stable marine aquariums with normal water parameters and nitrate levels below 40 ppm. Due to its strong grazing habits, ensure rockwork is secure, as it may move loose rocks while searching for algae.
